We are long time, large breed dog enthusiasts and have been ”owned” by mastiffs for many years. We believe in early socialization, obedience training and providing the fun & consistent family life that all dogs crave. We live near Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada with our Dogues de Bordeaux and mastiff.

About us

After falling in love with the wonderful Bordeaux - but having some sad experiences raising DDBs - we decided to get directly involved with the breed. Our search has taken several years to find foundation dogues that meet the health criteria and breed standards acceptable to us. It was almost as challenging to find Bordeaux people willing to offer advice and support. I am a member of the Dogue de Bordeaux Club of Canada and the Canadian Kennel Club and very pleased that the DDB has started on the road to gain full recognition in Canada - it’s a long drive to Minneapolis  : ) ….. one day I would love to go to France.

We have a small home-based program with a primary philosophy to improve and assure the well-being of the Dogue de Bordeaux. We strive for a successful balance of health, temperament, conformation, and pedigree. We are planning our first DDB litter for Spring 2012 and will occasionally have puppies and dogues available to approved homes.
